Chauma Smith Guss
I work with adults navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, and life transitions, providing a supportive and collaborative space to explore what is bringing them into counseling. My approach is grounded in Narrative Therapy and trauma-informed care, with a focus on helping clients better understand their experiences, strengthen emotional regulation, and develop meaningful, sustainable change.
I believe therapy should move at your pace. Together, we work to make sense of patterns, reduce distress, and identify practical ways to move forward while keeping the focus on your goals, values, and lived experience.
I am committed to providing an inclusive and affirming environment for all clients, including members of the LGBTQ+ community. I approach each session with respect, curiosity, and a steady, nonjudgmental presence.
I am a Clinical Intern working under the supervision of Dr. Eden Schmeichel.
